My name is Julia, and I’m a certified professional makeup artist based in Brooklyn, NY. My makeup style marries natural, timeless, skin-forward glam with an editorial, elevated flair.

 

Graduating from Northeastern University in Boston with a degree in Communications, I found my true passion for makeup while working on NARS Cosmetics' PR team in Manhattan. After several years in corporate roles, I made the decision to pursue my passion and am now a full-time freelance makeup artist. I’ve obtained professional certifications from The Makeup Academy NYC and have since worked across all realms of beauty, bridal, editorial, and fashion. I have extensive experience providing makeup for weddings, commercial shoots, and New York Fashion Week, and have worked on projects for brands including r.e.m. beauty, e.l.f., SOSHE Beauty, Il Makiage, Revlon, and Redken.
